The new Deputy Majority leader in Parliament, Hon. Owen Baya

Speaker Rt. Hon. Moses Masika Wetangula announced the Kenya Kwanza Coalition as the Majority Party in the national assembly with 179 legislators with Azimio-One Kenya Coalition Party being relegated to the Minority Party with 157 legislators.

Following the determination, the Speaker announced Kikuyu MP Hon. Kimani Ichung'wah as the Majority Leader with Kilifi constituency counterpart, Hon. Owen Baya being appointed the deputy Majority leader.

The Majority Whip, Hon. Silvanus Osoro

The Deputy Majority Whip, Hon. Naomi Jilo

The Majority Whip position went to Mugirango North Constituency legislator Hon. Silvanus Osoro, deputized by Hon. Naomi Jilo, the Woman Representative from Marsabit County.

Hon. Opiyo Wandayi of Ugunja Constituency was announced as the Minority leader with Kathiani Constituency legislator Hon. Robert Mbui announced as the deputy Minority leader.

The speaker announced Suna East Member of Parliament Hon. Junet Mohamed as the Minority Whip with nominated member of Parliament Hon. Sabina Chege being appointed the Deputy Minority Whip.
